AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

As the ideal candidate, you have a strong background in general vehicle maintenance and enjoy working with a high-energy team in a retail environment, as well as the following skills and qualifications:

· You hold a provincially recognized trade's ticket and have experience in front end brakes, shocks and wheel alignments

· You can confidently inspect, diagnose, adjust, service and repair a wide variety of vehicles

· Assist in identifying potential mechanical sales with team members

· You have a strong passion for people and understand the true value of good customer service

· You are methodical and patient in your approach; you have a keen eye for detail.

· Safety is paramount - you contribute and adhere to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace

· Supply and maintain personal tools

AUTOMOTIVE APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN

As the ideal candidate, you have a strong background in general vehicle maintenance and enjoy working with a high-energy team in a retail environment, as well as the following skills and qualifications:

· Attend and complete each level of apprenticeship training scheduled

· Attain a provincially recognized trade's ticket

· Focus on front end, brakes, shocks, wheel alignment and vehicle maintenance

· Inspect, diagnose, adjust, service, and repair a wide variety of vehicles

· Assist in identifying potential mechanical sales with team members

· Promote team spirit

· Interested applicants should be motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and want to provide excellent customer service

· Contributes to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace

· Purchase and maintain a personal set of tools consistent with apprentice's level of skill (tool assistance may be available)

GENERAL AUTOMOTIVE & TIRE SERVICE

If you have a strong desire to be in the automotive industry and enjoy collaborating with a high-energy team, we have an opportunity for you!

· You continually strive to provide exceptional customer service and exceed every client's expectations

· You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, lifting 27-32kg (60-70 lbs) and move constantly throughout your shift

· Perform tire removal/installation/repair service safely for all passenger and light truck vehicles, including: removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating and installing repaired or replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to procedure, diagnosing injuries, evaluating repair-ability, and choosing and carrying out proper repair methods

· Assist and perform mechanical inspections and service including complete understanding and use of work order inspection procedures and tools, basic understanding and use of alignment machine, flush machines, oil lube and filter service

· Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and by taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.

· Hold a Valid Driver's License

· Can contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and providing assistance to other team members

· Have excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude and are detail oriented

COUNTER SALES

If you have a strong desire to be in the automotive industry and enjoy collaborating with a high-energy team, we have an opportunity for you!

· The successful candidate needs to possess strong leadership and people development skills

· A continuous desire to strive to provide exceptional customer service, exceeding customer expectations

· Be able to provide assistance to the manager/sales person to implement and grow our mechanical and tire retail business

· Sales - You have a passion for and experience in direct sales - you strive to foster both new and repeat business

· Mechanical aptitude

· Safety - You bring experience in taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection
